During the Summer Camps organised every year by the Institut Français du Nigeria, the environmental artist Amarachi Odimba will give a two weeks arts and crafts workshop to teenagers and children. The kids will be using trash materials such as plastic bottles, and all the old flyers and posters of the Institut Français! Moreover, during One Environment, French classes will focus on the vocabulary of environment and recycling. The children will also have the opportunity to visit the masterclass organised at the Thought Pyramid Art Centre by the Nigerian-German artist “The Junkman from Africa”. Their works will be exhibited at the Institut Français during the summer.
This activity is proposed in the frame of One Environment Hybrid, a three weeks-long event of panel discussions, workshops, paper presentations and environmental art exhibition, organised by the Environmental Art Collective Foundation.
