William’s work revolves around social issues and humanitarian concerns mostly focusing on isolated or weakened communities.

On a long term basis, he has worked on Malaria, Aids and Tuberculosis in Africa and Asia, Haiti earthquake aftermaths, the Libyan war, former soviet countries and the Central African Republic crisis among others issues.

His two years work on malaria was exhibited on the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris, and published in the book Mauvais Air. He also published Faded Tulips, a long term vision of the Post-soviet democracy in Kyrgyzstan.

Awarded twice at world press photo, three times at Picture of the year and by a Visa d’Or, his images appear regularly in the French and international press: National Geographic Magazine, Time Magazine, The New York Times, Le Monde…
