After a long (and rainy!) summer break, Garden After Work is back on Thursday the 17th of October, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

The Institut français du Nigéria decided to slightly change the concept. From now on, GAW will happen every 2 or 3 months, and will merge with pre-existing artistic initiatives. In October, we partner with the Krump Studios and their “Creative Connect”.

Initiated by Jemima Angulu, this program aims to be a safe and inspiring environment where dancers and other artists can come together to share, learn, collaborate and create together.

This creative experience will be focusing on the fusion of Dance and Street art. It will be segmented in 4 parts:

–  screening of an excerpt from a documentary (20’)

–  open floor discussion (40’)

–  improvisation sessions (40’)

– networking & refreshments (20’)

Open to dancers, poets, musicians, instrumentalists, writers, photographers, artistic directors, curators, actors, visual artists… and everyone eager to share their creativity!

Free admission – Doors open at 5:30 PM – Program starts at 6 PM
