Since 2010, the Focus program has lead to the invitation of over 100 curators, critics, and directors of institutions from around the world to discover the French artistic scene through visits of the diverse spaces dedicated to contemporary art (museums, art centres, foundations, galleries) and meetings with artists and curators in Paris.
Taiye Idahor is a visual artist and also works part time at the Center for Contemporary Art (CCA, Lagos) in Lagos Nigeria with independent curator Bisi Silva. As a project coordinator, she has worked on artist residencies including the yearly Asiko art school programme organised by CCA, Lagos, as well as organise talks and workshops at the center. Taiye Idahor has also worked as a curatorial assistant on projects such as the international group exhibition, The Progress of Love and the solo exhibition of El Anatsui; Playing with Chance in Lagos Nigeria in 2014. As an artist, she has participated in several group exhibitions and attended several artist residency programmes both home and abroad.
