Live Guitar Music BY Jonbethel Ezeugo

Jonbethel Ezeugo  is a young and exceptionally talented musician, seasoned with guitar skills, percussion and piano skills. He is a child’s right activist and founder of the Save Our Tomorrow Foundation and the WàkàWáká Street Show.

Born in Ebonyi state Nigeria and has been traveling round the country and across busking and promoting a rare African sound. He is consistent about the type of music that he makes, not the popular music but the music that feeds the soul. He calls his genre Afro-soul.

His music is a tool more than it is a jam, his sound is a cry more than it is a shout, and his voice takes you on a journey through folklore and returns you to a world where you wish to be. This artiste is unapologetically original and his vibration resonates.

Jonbethel Ezeugo is currently working on a revolutionary album titled ‘1967’.

What Garden After Work is about ?

Every third Thursday of the month from 5 pm to 7 pm, the IFN garden will open its doors to creative people who want to meet up. The goal of the Garden After Work is to share new creative projects in town with like-minded people and in front a general audience that is interested in art and culture (artists, cultural entrepreneurs, teachers, students… ), all of this in a relaxed atmosphere and with good music playing in the background. Furthermore, it’s also the place to share ideas and get feedback and find partners with whom to collaborate on artistic projects.

Each third Thursday of the month a creative group of people acting in the various artistic field (dance, theatre, music, photography, cinema…) will be hosted by the Institut français du Nigéria to present their projects.

🌿 Do you want to hang out with fellow creative in Abuja? 🌿 Do you want to know what’s going on in town? 🌿 Are you looking for inspiration?
